 | item: Martin People en Español Aunque a primera vista un dúo entre Willie Nelson y Wynton Marsalis suena como una combinación extraña, la realidad es que Two Men with the Blues es un disco bastante interesante. Luckily, the tapes were rolling and the results of this unique collaboration now constitute the Blue Note album Two Men With The Blues for everyone who couldn't cram into The Allen Room. The event was simply billed as "Willie Nelson Sings the Blues," but the historic two-night stand on January 12 and 13, 2007 at Jazz at Lincoln Center was far more than that. | item: The album features The Memphis Horns, Willie Mitchell,Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Eric Clapton, Robert Randolph and Quinn Sullivan. Skin Deep is the 2008 release by Buddy Guy. If you're a fan, or even if you're not - this is a rockin'-good release. Just a super CD a long waited blues album by a master. Having guest appearances by Robert Randolph amongst others is just sweat cream with a cherry on top. What could be better - Buddy Guy, Clapton, Robert Randolf, Susan Tedesci and Derek Truck? Buddy Guy remains one of the few artists that I actually track CD release dates. Silvertone has done wonders for his well deserved career creating some of the best music regardless of preference for blues or guitar rock.
The first half of this CD is terrific, especially the first two tracks- a c... see description |
